As a ministry we recognize that social justice is one of the passions on God’s heart. Our service team seeks to be servants to the local community of Oakland, but also the greater community of the city of Pittsburgh. Our task is to provide and facilitate opportunities for Cornerstone students to serve in different avenues, such as homeless shelters, food banks, and community organizations. Our ministry also partners with a homeless ministry in Pittsburgh called the LIVING Ministry (http://www.livingministry.org/), founded by former Cornerstone students. Philippians 2:5-7
